Using the imagery of dying flowers, I wanted to create a timeline to show how the number of uprisings in the Arab Spring grew and died in only thirteen months. Like springtime, flowers can represent beauty and new beginnings, but when using this romanticized term, it's important to recognize the pain that can be caused in times of revolution.
